The Total Support Group (TSG Group) supports the Human Power Team. We are a mechanical/mechatronic project organisation, comprising three business units that reinforce each other:

RaptoBike is a young Dutch company that focuses on building qualitative yet affordable and practical recumbents. All bikes have been and will be well designed, well made, have high quality components and a very attractive price. At the moment they are producing a low racer type bike and they are nearly ready to introduce our mid racer bike.

RaptoBike is supporting the Human Power Team by delivering the stock parts of our vehicle. During the training phase the cyclists also have the possibility to train on a RaptoBike lowracer.

FuturaComposites originally started in 1968 in designing, developing and manufacturing industrial components in composites. Since then they build serious relations with many major industries in The Netherlands as well as abroad.

Futura will be supplying us with the required composite material to build the fairing. Beside the material they will also support us during the construction of the fairing since the production will take place at their facilities.

Carerix is the lead developer of contracting and recruitment software. Carerix sponsor the Human Power Team be course it’s important to invest in our colleagues of the future. Like the students of the Technical University of Delft, Carerix is also always on the top of the latest technology and innovation. Paul Denissen is one of our co-workers and Carerix wishes him and the rest of the Human Power Team the best of luck breaking the human powered vehicle speed record!

The main focus of edco is to be a supplier in the professional road, triathlon, track, cyclecross and mtb racing scene. The swiss bicycle component maker edco is part of edco engineering bv. All hub components are produced in Switzerland and assembled in The Netherlands. The edco headquarters are located in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, sales, markething, productdesign, wheelproduction and logistics are all under one roof. All spoked wheels are hand built in our assembly deparment in 's-Hertogenbosch. edco is one of the few wheelbuilders who develops and produces their own hubs. The engineering department is now working closely together with TotalSupport and Innoteq. Both participations of the owner Rob van Hoek. The track hub "SuperT" is one of the first results to be developed using a 3D CAD system and analysing programs. edco wherever the road takes you

Nedcam produces models, prototypes and complete products originating from digital 2D and 3D designs, using highly sophisticated 5 axis CNCmachines. Providing a total concept consisting of advice, management, realization and innovation: Nedcam offers the right solutions for every project.

Nedcam produced direct moulds for the body of the Human Power Team bike. Both mould halves were designed to ensure a perfect fit of the product shells. For the canopy (partly transparent head cover) a separate direct mould was machined; scratch lines were included in this mould to simplify the cutting of the hole where glass will be inserted.

Stud is a student employment agency situated at the campus of the TU Delft. This agency is completely controlled by students. Stud is supporting several initiatives at the TU Delft and the student teams are one of them.

Schoberer Rad Meßtechnik (SRM) is a company which created the first mobile ergometer for bicycles, formed in 1986 by Ulrich Schoberer. The SRM Powermeter uses built-in strain gauges to determine the power, in Watts, that the cyclist outputs to the bicycle cranks and chainring. Together with our sponsor SRM we have worked on a custom power meter that is compatible with our Stud-Drive.

TU Delft supports the Human Power Team by making available various facilities. On various disciplines the team may rely on the knowledge and rich experience within the University. Most team members of the Human Power Team are studying at TU Delft. For example, the following studies represented: aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering.

The Composite lab is situated at the campus of the TU Delft and specializes in composite constructions for all sorts of applications. Within the lab there is a large amount of experience when it comes to composite bike frames and for that reason we contacted them.

We will be building the frame of the vehicle in the lab .

European carbon is a major producer of braided and woven fabric and insulation for the composite industry.  We process fibre as: carbon fiber, fiberglass, aramid fiber, PBO fiber, Dyneema fibre, polyester fiber (and other polymers), melting yarn, etc.

Eurocarbon has supplied the team with the required composite material for the bike frame.

Mavom is sinds 1938 specialist in productie, marketing en verkoop van hoogwaardige chemische producten voor industriële toepassingen. Sticker Company produces stickers, printing and provides all possible labels with the correct applications on self-adhesive materials in various printing techniques from the largest selection of Netherlands.

Together with Sticker Company we want to create a smooth surface on the fairing. It is very important that the front of the fairing is completely smooth without edges.
